Describe how art is important to society.

Art is life and the society needs life..irrespective of the kind of art..we all need art in one way or the other to success in so many areas of life..

What motivates you to create?

When I'm not doing commission drawing (paid drawing), I tend to challenge myself to do certain tough exhibition drawing and that motivates me to create a particular art.

How do you define success as an artist?

You are simply a successful artist when you are able to touch so many lives with your work and when many artists look up to you for inspiration.

Does art help you in other areas of your life?

Yes a lot like I said before art is life more like saying art is a lifestyle. Helps in the way you view and approach life..

How do you develop your art skills?

Self taught I'd say..never been in any class apart from my junior secondary school fine art class but aside that I see my role models drawing and challenge myself to do it exactly like they did. I've learnt one thing in art "it can only get better irrespective of how long it takes you to grow" "you aren't growing if your previous works are better than your current work.

Describe your ideal working environment.

My ideal working environment is just a cool space could be my bedroom or an office (only me) with a hip hop or rock music playing..

Which art trends inspire your current work?

Portraiture..I like portraits cos that is where I include all the art details I love.

How do you manage a work-life balance as an artist?

Its not easy to manage especially when when staying with a family. You gotta handle family issue and needs, that may make you lose focus/motivation to draw sometimes.. unless its a paid work then you gotta eke out time to handle it.

Do you have an existing customer base?

Customer base? Well I have social media handles and some of my customers are following while some are from people who were referred to me...though they are not much..

What factors influence the price of your work?

Two things affect it Inflation and My time..I spend more time in drawing lately (getting the detail/the best) than I used to...so you cant compare a drawing I did under 24hours with a drawing I did in 3days or a week....also inflation affect it too..price of art equipments can increase and that can affect the price of a portrait.

Do you plan to sell your work anywhere besides here?

Ofcourse if i see the opportunity I would. Art is not meant to be sold at one place..art is a general language..everyone understands it.

What are your ultimate career goals?

Ultimate career goal is to be among the best portrait artist around and maybe just maybe move into animation art movie production.

Describe how we can encourage your career growth.

Awareness is the keyword..every artist has one thing at the back of their mind...for the world to see their work..once this is done..the rest will happen naturally.
